Paleo Diet

You may have heard of a new nutritionally innovation known as Paleo eating. By adapting a lifestyle based on how our bodies were designed to consume food, it is considered the healthiest life style that evolution can provide.  If you have had trouble dieting in the past, the Paleo lifestyle is the best way to stay healthy get your body back to its optimal health.  Unlike trendy fad "diets", the Paleo lifestyle is the way  to meet the needs of how we are genetically evolved..  It focuses on a hunter-gatherer food routine that we "grew up with". Meat, seafood, and unlimited fresh fruit and vegetables.

This lifestyle avoids the consumption of processed foods that are known to cause cardiovascular, disease, diabetes, and weight gain.  By eating natural foods, patients are acquiring essential nutrition that includes all types of fiber, antioxidant vitamins, and other nutrients.  The benefits of this natural lifestyle extend beyond weight loss.  It also has improved athletic performance, mental outlook, lifespan, sleep, skin conditions, and systematic health.  If you have questions about this diet or how you can better improve your overall health, feel free to contact me at my practice.
