How does Biopuncture work

Biopuncture was invented by the Belgian physician Dr. Jan Kersschot and presented by him for the first time in an academic setting at a medical symposium in Ostend (Belgium) in 1991.

Biopuncture for tendinitis of shoulder.
Biopuncture works by injecting very-low doses of homeopathic medication into acupuncture points and other areas of pain and inflammation. Some of the commonly used Homeopathics are Arnica, used for muscle pain, nux vomica for digestive problems, Echinacea to increase the ability of the immune system to respond quickly to outside pathogens. Lymphomyosot is used for lymphatic drainage, Traumeel for sports injuries and acute and sub-acute trauma. Normally specific locations are injected just as with Acupuncture, and like the acupuncture technique of “circle the dragon” I will treat the area of concern with multiple injections surrounding the area of complaint. The majority of the products are derived from plants. Most of these injections are given into the skin or into muscles. In conventional medicine, the drug you take suppresses your symptoms immediately. That is why patient’s seem to need to take high doses of chemical substances in order to suppress pain. when medication stops working, you have to take another pill to “kill the pain” again.
However, in Biopuncture small doses of products are injected in order to stimulate the natural healing processes. These ultra-low doses “wake up” the healing systems within the body naturally. This concept of healing from the “inside out” is in fact the very principle that Acupuncture, Chiropractic and Homeopathy are based upon. This added tool has improved the lives of many of my patients and I look forward to helping as many people as I can with this new procedure.
